Creative Chaos, New Toys, & FIRST DIBS!!

Apparently, I have a problem…

I make stuff. A LOT of stuff. But here's the thing... only about a third of what I create ever makes it onto our website.

Why? Well, listing products is a pain in the butt. And apparently, I cannot visit my own website without finding something else I want to change.

Case in point: Last week, I went to list a couple of tumblers I'd just finished. Simple enough, right? WRONG. Somehow, that turned into completely rearranging our online shop. Which, by the way, is STILL a work in progress.

So, I've come up with a plan. And I need your help!

Introducing FIRST DIBS!

We're creating things faster than I can get them listed, especially with our new xTool Omni printer. So I'm going to start giving our followers a chance to snag our newest creations BEFORE they ever hit the website!

Here's how it will work:

  • 💌 Email subscribers get FIRST DIBS — 15% OFF! When I finish a project, I'll send out a simple email with a photo. Nothing fancy, no elaborate marketing graphics. Just a peek at what I've made! The first person to claim it by replying gets 15% off the regular price!

  • 📱 Two days later — 10% OFF! If nobody has claimed it, I'll share it on Instagram and Facebook. At that point, the First Dibs offer ends and the discount drops to 10% off the regular price.

  • 🛍️ Three days after that — Regular Price! If it's still available, I'll finally get around to listing it on the website at its regular price (unless there's another sale happening, of course!).

The earlier you claim it, the more you save! Discounts don't stack.

No fancy launches. No waiting for me to build another product listing. Just freshly finished creations looking for their forever homes!

So, What Have We Been Making?

First up, the infamous tumblers that started my accidental website renovation.

Season of the Witch choose Your Copper Finish

Polished Copper: A brighter, more reflective copper engraving that catches the light beautifully. Also has Season of the Witch engraved at the handle.

Antique Copper: A softer, more subdued copper appearance with a warm, vintage character. No text on this version.

I Put a Spell on You choose if you want the graphic full length or just on the upper third of the tumbler.

And then there's our new Omni printer. Oh. My. Goodness. This thing has opened up SO many creative possibilities! We've been printing on all kinds of things, and I am having entirely too much fun.

We just started using the Omni. It's very user friendly. We've printed tumblers, stickers, magnets, name badges for the dog's kennels, canisters, a bag, and we have so many more plans.

One of my favorite projects this week was actually for our sister business, Dixie's Delights!

Oregon's cottage food rules require me to keep my bakery ingredients separate from our household ingredients. So naturally, I couldn't just buy some plain storage containers and call it good. Where's the fun in that?

I bought glass canisters, designed custom labels, and printed the designs directly onto the outside of the glass! No stickers, no peeling labels, and absolutely no contact between the printing and the ingredients inside.

And I LOVE how they turned out! 😍

I was just going to put the Dixie’s Delights logo on them, but then I decided to get fancy.

From a Graphic to an Actual Cookie!

Another fun project this week involved bringing an adorable little ghost to life... in cookie form!

Instead of hunting for a cookie cutter that was close enough, I designed and 3D printed my own cutter to bring that little ghost to life! I found a ghost graphic in Canva and customized it until it was just how I wanted it. Because apparently buying a cookie cutter would have been entirely too easy. 😂

Thanks for Being a Part of our Story!

It's been an incredible week of creating, experimenting, learning, and making a glorious mess of my workspace. And honestly? I wouldn't have it any other way.

Thank you for following our adventures, supporting our little businesses, and giving me a reason to keep dreaming up the next project.

Don't forget to sign up for emails to get FIRST DIBS on our newest creations! You might just snag something before it ever makes it into the shop.
